The first book for Term 2 is The Seven, by bestselling author Chris Hammer. This detailed and highly researched story is a combination thriller and historical mystery. It unfolds over three different decades and is set in the picturesque Riverina district of NSW. The compelling story follows seven founding families who have lorded over the district for over a century, growing rich and powerful. The death of one of their own, however, means that they now face an investigation which uncovers many secrets from the past.
